The Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN) keeps breaking new grounds under the Executive council of the association led by Emmanuel Ajufo with yet another feat being the recently signed memorandum of understanding with Enugu State Signage and Advertising Agency (ENSAA).
Industry watchers adjudge this development as a milestone that would further set the tone with other state signage regulatory agencies in the light of formidable partnership. The leadership of the Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria is leaving no stone unturned by reaching out to all relevant stakeholders to ensure the survival of the ever embattled sector. It is no gain saying that the sector is one of the most badly affected by the economic recession coupled with the COVID-19 virus, which has further slowed down business activities world over.
However, the Ajufo led Executive council of OAAN have recorded meaningful progress despite the many challenges confronting the sector. The recently signed MOU with ENSAA has come to add up, which suggest that complacency is far from these progressive team. Outdoor Republic gathered that the highlight of the MOU is the modification of the Advert permit fee amongst other plausible win-win consideration by ENSAA.
It would be recalled that Ogun State Signage and Advertisement Agency recently got her Board constituted by Governor Dapo Abiodun the Executive Governor of Ogun State. OR gathered that the leadership of OAAN had since reached out to the Executive Governor of Ogun State to commend him for deeming it necessary to constitute the Board of the Ogun State Signage and Advertisement Agency in accordance with the law that set up agency while encouraging others to do the same.
