Members of the Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria, OAAN, have commended the Executive Council of the association for a successful Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday, 28th July, 2020.

The Annual General Meeting which was the 35th in the series was themed; “OOH Business and Emerging Realities” held both physically and virtually for members to be part of the meeting.

According to members, the Executive Council has always been dedicated to the progress of the association, which they had shown in organizing a successful AGM despite the Covid-19 limitations.

Speaking at the meeting, the President said the 35th AGM is a special one and, of course, it is novel to the association because this is the first time the association will be having both physical and virtual meeting combined “and I am very glad we made it worthwhile despite the challenges around us.”

He also told members, the association’s aim to engage stakeholders more, in his second year in office.

“We will be happy, if by this time next year, we are reporting improvement in our relationship with all stakeholders.”

“On our side, we will be giving the Industry a standard rate card for our services amongst other things as the present one is very obsolete.”

OAAN honours Adedoyin, immediate Past President

Also at the meeting, the association honored the immediate Past President, Mr. Tunde Adedoyin for his landmark achievement while in office. Adedoyin is the Chief Executive Officer at Media Views Limited and he led the team of the Council of OAAN for four years.
